National Mourning Day observed at CUET

The authority of the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) has chalked out a daylong programmes to celebrate the 39th martyrdom anniversary of the father of the Nation and National Mourning Day yesterday.
The day long programmes was inaugurated through hoisting national flag in front of administrative building and hoisting of black flag as a symbol of condolence. The programmes include to wear black badge, reminiscence on life of the father of the Nation and discussion meeting, doa Mahfil, and distribution of tabarak(sweets) among the presence. Besides, Doa Mahfil was also held at CUET central Jam-e mosque and residence area mosque. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Jahangir Alam was present as Chief Guest . Pro-VC Prof. Rafiqul Alam, Registrar Prof. Farukuzzaman Chowdhury attended the function as special guests. Director of Students Welfare Departmetn Prof. Dr. Ashotosh Saha presided over the whole programmes.
