At least nine more people including a UP member were killed and many others critically injured in separate road accidents across the country on Wednesday.
In Pabna, two motorcyclists were killed when a truck hit them in the Iswardi upazila of the district on Wednesday night.
Details of the deceased couldn’t be known instantly.
Officer in-Charge of Iswardi Police told the matter to media.
In Netrakona, two people were killed when a sand-laden truck hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw in Durgapur upazila of district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased could not be identified instantly.
The accident occurred in Shuknapur area on Shyamganj-Birishir road around 11:30am.
Durgapur Police Station Officer in-Charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman confirmed the news to the media.
In Natore, at least two people including a minor child and a truck driver were killed in separate road accidents on Tuesday night in the district.
One deceased was identified as Sabiha, 7, daughter of one Bayezid Hossain from Lalor village, while the details of truck driver could not be known instantly.
