City Mayor’s instant visit in Port Connecting Road

City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin has directed the contractors of undergoing construction of Port Connecting road in port city to complete the works within the specific time keeping the quality of the construction. He said Port Connecting road is a most important road of the city . He disclosed it while visiting the PC road construction from Nimtala to Nayabazar section duly funded by JAICA of Tk100 crs.
He told the contractors involved with the works that none will be spared if any unfairmeans is detected in the work. During his visit Chief Engineer Md. Rafiqul Islam, Executive Engineer Abu Sadat Md. Taiyub, representative of contractor, local councilor and local elites were present on the occasion.Mentionable that the construction work begins in January 2018 which supposed to be completed by May next . Mayor in his brief deliveration s mentioned that PC road and Agrabad Access road are the most important thoroughfares of the port city and these two roads are used for transporting import and export consignments to and from Chattogram Port and containers towards other parts of the country including capital city.
