Farida Husain no more

Farida Husain, wife of retired Secretary M Akmal Husain and sister of Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder MP, passed away in a city hospital on Tuesday (Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilaihe Rajeun). She was 80.
Family sources said she was undergoing treatment at CCU in the city’s United Hospital where she breathed her last at about 6pm. She had been suffering from old age complications.
She left behind a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Her namaz e janaza will be held today (Wednesday) after Asr prayers at Azad Mosque in the city’s Gulshan.
