World Cup and Oceania
Australia are now the member of the 47 nations’ Asia Football Confederation (AFC). It is divided into four regions namely Central Asia, East Asia, South Asia and West Asia. But Australia, a country geographically located in the Ocean continent, has become the member of AFC to ensure their participation in the World Cup (WC) Football on Asia quota. We think that it has deprived an Asian nation’s berth in the WC. Our suggestion is that Australia should be taken back to Oceania, which should have one quota at least so that the World sees an Ocean nation in the World Cup Football on every occasion. It is unjust to place Ocean face to face with Europe or South American in the qualifying round.
