Mahmudullah gives credit to boys for victory

Bangladesh stand-in captain Mahmudullah gave credit to his boys behind the Bangladesh’s thumping victory over Zimbabwe in the second and final Test on Thursday.
He was speaking at a post match presentation ceremony after Bangladesh’s massive 218-run victory over Zimbabwe.
He also thanked his boys for performing well by showing their character. Mahmudullah said “We are especially giving credit to Mushfiqur and Mominul for their magnificent batting performance in the series and they are still working hard. He also parised performance of Taijul for his excellent performance throughout the innings.
The Tigers’ spinners admitted that he also need to prove a bit more for himself as well as for his side.
Losing Zimbabwe skipper Hamilton Masakadza also pleased for his boys performance the way they came and played in the series.
“Pleased with the way the boys showed character. That was world class from Brendan, who really showed the boys the way to go. The pacer also bowled really well, got wickets upfront with the new ball every time. There’s always point to learn. Second session on the first day really put us behind. But it was a really good performance in the series,” he said. Mushfiqur Rahim, who was named the player of the match for his impressive batting performance, said it was badly needed for them.
