Bangladesh Peace Council
Bangladesh Peace Council formed a human chain in front of the National Press Club in the city on Thursday. In the human chain the speakers bitterly condemned the mass killing by Israeli forces in Gaza city. They urged the peace loving people of the world to be vocal against this genocide and also urged the Bangladesh government to stand beside the oppressed Palestinians. It was addressed, among others, by Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon and President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh Mujahidul Islam Selim. President of the council Mozaffar Hossain Paltu presided over the programme.
