Samina renders two popular songs again

Released in 1984, Noyon-er Alo is one of the legendary movies in the country’s film history. Late Jafar Iqbal, Kajori, Suborna Mustafa, among others, acted in that movie. Produced by Begum Shahnaz Sultana and directed by Belal Ahmed Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul composed all the play-back songs of this movie. Andrew Kishore and Samina Nabi rendered those songs. During that time Samina was introduced by name Samina Nabi. Songs of that movie got huge popularity among the listeners.
Samina Chowdhury is coming with a song titled Aamar buker moddhyokhaney mon jekhane hridoy sekhane of that film at BTV’s ‘Unplug’ programme. Another song titled Ami jaiga kinbo kinbo bole peye gelam… was also rendered by Samina in that programme. Samina tried to render these two songs in new way. Neel has tried to make it fusion song keeping its originality. Using acoustic instrument Samina gave her voice to render these songs again in new way on Wednesday.
While talking in this regard Samina Chowdhury said, “I earlier did not know that I have to render these two songs. While performing on stage Neel requested me to render these songs under his fusion composition. I believe listeners and music lovers will enjoy these songs.”
