DIU, Pragati Life Ins sign deal

To implement a scheme of Group Life Insurance under for the permanent employees of the Daffodil International University (DIU), an agreement was signed to this effect between Daffodil International University (DIU) and Pragati Life Insurance Ltd on Tuesday at DIU Conference Room in the city.
Prof Dr Engr AKM Fazlul Hoque, Registrar of Daffodil International University and M J Azim, Managing Director and CEO, Pragati Life Insurance Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
 The signing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr M Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr SM Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Dean Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Prof Dr M Zakir Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof Dr SM Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Dean Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Mominul Haque Majumder, Director (Finance & Accounts), Farhana Helal Mahtab, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Law, Emran Hossain, Deputy Director (Finance & Accounts), Kamrun Nahar Aziz, Sr Assistant Registrar, Masud Karim, Assistant Director (Finance & Accounts) of Daffodil International University and MM Moinul Alam (Tapan), Additional Managing Director and Md. Rafiqul Alam Bhuyan (Rana), Senior General Manager of Pragati Life Insurance.
Under this agreement, all the permanent employees of Daffodil International University are brought under risk coverage (Death Benefit, Survival Benefit and Supplementary coverage through Group Life Insurance with 100 per cent Refund of Premium including Accidental Death (AD), Permanent Total Disability (PTD), and Permanent Partial Disability (PPD).
