DU signs MoU with BSMRMU

In a bid to promote education and research, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Dhaka University and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU) on Monday. The MoU was signed at a simple ceremony held at the DU Vice Chancellor’s office.
Treasurer of DU Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Treasurer of BSMRMU Commodore ANM Rezaul Haque signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique and Vice-Chancellor of BSMRMU Rear Admiral ASM Abdul Baten were present on the occasion.
According to the MoU, Dhaka University and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University will jointly organize seminars, symposia, conferences and workshops. The two universities will also exchange academic information, publications and research materials.
