Students discharged our duty: CMP Commissioner

Commissioner of Chttogram Metropolitan Police Mahbubur Rahman said the agitated students dischsrged responsibilities of ours and appreciates the movement of the students. CMP commissioner told the media persons that the students done our responsibilities in traffic sector and I appreciate them.
Beside the traffic police officials, the students also checked the drivers license, fitness & blue book of the transports at Dampara, GEC circle, WASA crosssing, .No.2 gate, and Chowkbazar inster section.
A number of MV case filed against the drivers and vehicles during the movement of the students , CMP sources said. Police commissioner urges the students not to involve with the conspiracy of a vested quarters in the name of movement.
He said traffic officials have been asked to extend cooperations to the movement of the students without any unwanted incidents and to cooperate the students in checking the drivers and vehicles documents.
Senior officials of CMP and all OC of thanas performed their responsibilities in the roads beside the students, he added. CMP sources said so far 557 MV cases lodged and 49 vehicles detained lack of proper documents of the driver and vehicles.
Mentionable that CMP commissioner distributed delicious chocolate among the agitated students in the city, sorurces said.
