UGC Chair urges teachers for extensive research

University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan urged the university teachers to be more attentive in carrying out research works.
The UGC chairman was addressing the 30th senate meeting cum budget session held at Vice-Chancellor auditorium at A R Mallik Bhaban on the campus on Thursday.
The UGC chairman said Tk two crore has been allocated for research works in Chattogram University in the fiscal 2018-2019 and UGC is ready for more allocation if needed for the research. The former Vice Chancellor of CU Prof Mannan, however, noted that the allocated amount for the researches in public universities remain unspent.
