Tk 1.33 cr snatched from Chinese RMG trader

A gang of unidentified miscreants snatched Tk 1.33 crore from three officials of a Chinese garment factory after firing at Kaliakoir Upazila in Gazipur district on Monday afternoon. Quoting the officials, Kaliakoir Police Station’s Sub-Inspector (SI) Atiqur Rahman confirmed the matter and said that a gang of six miscreants blocked the car of the factory towards to the Board Mill area on the way to Kaliakoir from the Jamgara of Ashulia. The miscreants pointed pistols toward the driver and opened fire. They also snatched the Tk 1.33 crore from the officials and managed to flee from the spot with their three motorcycles. The SI said that the police were trying to arrest the snatchers.Filing of a case is under processing with the police station in the connection, he added.
