A view exchange meeting between the officials of Real Estate & Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) and the Chairman of Chittagong Development Authority Abdus Salam was held yesterday at latter’s conference hall REHAB team led by its Vice President and Chittagong Zonal Chairman Md. Abdul Kaiyum Chowdhury .
In the meeting , REHAB members presented a number of proposals to CDA chairman including introduction of one stop service in connection of project approval, compulsory membership of all developers with REHAB, registration of all REHAB members with CDA, inclusion of REHAB members with CDA committee.
CDA chairman praised the role of REHAB in country’s development. He said to resolve the accommodation problems of the country, REHAB’s role is praiseworthy and friendly relations grown up between CDA and REHAB from very beginning.
CDA chairman also said as per decisions of the Ministry of Commerce, every developer should have registered with REHAB compulsorily and the enlistment of developers with CDA will begin from March 20 next.
He further told that subject to membership registration with REHAB, real estate developers will be entitled to have registered with CDA. CDA chief expressed consensus over inclusion of REHAB members in the project approval committee.
Among others, Regional co-chairman Alhaj Engr. Didarul Hoque Chowdhury, members Mijanur Rahman, Dr.Kazi Ainul Hoque, Engr.ASM Abu Sufian, Engr. Iftekhar Hossain, Chief City Planner Engr Md Sahidul Islam Khan, Authorized Officer Engr. Manzur Hasan, Authorized Officer Engr Shamim , City Planner Md.Abu Isha Ansari were present on the occasion.
