BKSP Cup Cricket: Ctg Ispahani CA emerge champions
Chittagong Ispahani Cricket Academy (CA) emerged champions in the BKSP TID Cup Under-13 Cricket Tournament beating Khulna Mohammedan Cricket Academy by six wickets in the final at BKSP Ground-1 in Savar on Thursday.
Winning the toss, Khulna Mohammedan CA batted first and scored 127 for 5 in stipulated 25 overs.
In reply, Chittagong Ispahani CA reached their target scoring the match-winner 128 runs for the loss of four wickets in 24.4 overs.
Sadiqur Rahman contributed an unconquered 65 runs for Ispahani CA and was adjudged the man of the final.
BKSP Director General Brigadier General M Shamsur Rahman was the chief guest in the day’s final and later he distributed the prizes. BKSP Principal Lt Col M Imran Ibne-a-Rouf and BKSP Deputy Director Shamima Sattar Mimo were also present on the occasion.
A total of eight teams, except BKSP, took part in the five-day tournament. BKSP will pick up some talented cricketers from the meet for a long-term training.
