Ex-Asstt Secy of Liberation War Ministry sued

An investigation team of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday filed a case against former Assistant Secretary of Liberation War Ministry Mohammad Ali Hossain on charge of illegally managing two plots in the city, misusing his power.
ACC Deputy Director and team member Mohammad Ebrahim filed the case with Shahbagh Police Station under Corruption Prevention Act-1947, Section No-5 (2), ACC PRO said.
On Sunday, filing of the case was approved in an ACC meeting.
According to the first information report, Ali Hossain in collaboration with some officials of the Housing and Public Works Ministry and Rajdhani Unnyan Kartripakkya (RAJUK) managed two plots in his and his wife’s names when he was in power.
