Trained youths get Tk 387.98 cr, JS told

State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder said the government has distributed Taka 387 crore 98 lakh 75,000 as micro-credit to trained youths through Department of Youth Development during its last tenure.
The state minister said this on Monday while replying to a tabled question from treasury bench member AFM Bahauddin Nasim in parliament.
He said the government is carrying out this micro-credit programme across the country to make the youths self-employed. The ceiling of the micro-credit has also been increased, he added.
