Basic training on Multimedia journalism held
A two- day long basic training on multimedia journalism was held at the Circuit House Auditorium organised by Chittagong Reporters Unity (CRU) recently. Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Md. Zillur Rahman Chowdhury inaugurating the training programme

A two-day long workshop on Multimedia Journalism as arranged by the Chittagong Reporters Unity was held at Chittagong circuitn house auditorium on Friday .
Deputy commissioner of Chittagong Md.Zillur Rahman chowdhury graced the workshop as chief guest. The chief guest in his brief deliverations said cultivate of knowledge is the main achievement for the journalists. He said objective journalism brings welfare of the man as well as the country but it should be cared for any sorts of writings repugnant to the interest of the country and law of the land.
All sorts of good and bad must be depicted through writings of the journalists before the people. He also emphaised the need for frequent trainings of the journalists to nourish the knowledge of the journalists. He stressed the need for publishing true picture of the incidents rather favouritism. He further said journalism is the great task and none should fear in writing the true picture of the reality without any fear and hesitation.
The special guest on the occasion, former member of World Press council and reputed journalist Moinuddin Quadery Showkat told that journalism is the great profession and none should be allured with any sorts of offers by any quarters.
He also emphasized the need of knowledge of the laws of the land by the journalists for objective journalism.
