It is important to honour our friends

“It is not important how much gold was there (in the crest), it is important to honour the foreign friends and we did it” is the official stand of the CEO of the country on tempered gold crest scam.
Yes, it does not matter how much gold there was but it does matter how much we deceived them. The thing that has been overlooked is that people who were in charge of upholding the spirit of Liberation had severely undermined it. Such comment will not only encourage those people who were involved in stealing gold but it has also diminish whatever the chances of punishment were there. It is noteworthy to mention that instead of 22.3 gm of gold, BSTI found only 2.3 gm of gold in each crest given to our foreign friends who helped us during our Liberation War.
