RTV became champions of the Atom Gum-DRU Media Cup Handball Tournament defeating SA TV by 9-4 goals in the final at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Stadium on Saturday.
The winners led the first half by 5-1 goals.
Shariatullah of RTV was adjudged the Man of the Final, while Moniruzzaman Uzzal of Jagonews24.com was adjudged the Player of the Tournament.
The champions was awarded Taka thirty thousand, while the runners-up was given Taka twenty thousand.
After the final match, State Minister for LGRD Mashiur Rahman Ranga distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest, while General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor was with him as the special guest.
President of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Sakhawat Hossain Badsha presided over the prize-giving ceremony.
Sports Secretary of DRU Md Mojibur Rahman directed the prize-giving ceremony.
General Secretary of DRU Morsalin Nomani, former general secretary of DRU Elias Hossain, Member of DRU Saiful Islam and Member Secretary of the Tournament Committee Aminul Haque Mallick were present at the time.
