1st phase begins today at seven zonal venues

The National Youth Volleyball Championship, organised by Bangladesh Volleyball Federation, begins today (Sunday) at seven zonal venues throughout the country.
Thirty six districts and one institution, split into seven zones, will take part in the first phase of the tournament.
Later, champions and the runners-up of the seven group will compete in the final round.
Participating teams are:
Habiganj Zone – Sylhet, Habiganj, Moulvi Bazar and Sunamganj.
Chandpur Zone – Chittagong, Chandpur, Comilla, Luxmipur, Noakhali, Brahmanbaria and Feni.
Bogra Zone – Rajshahi, Bogra, Naogaon, Pabna and Joypurhat.
Dinajpur Zone – Rangpur, Dinajpur, Kurugram, Panchagarh, Takurgaon and Nilphamari.
Jessore Zone – Jessore, Satkhira, Kushtia, Jhenaidah and Magura.
Patuakhali Zone – Barisal, Patuakhali, Pirojpur and Borguna.
Gopalganj Zone – Dhaka, Gopalganj, Gazipur, Tangail, Faridpur and BKSP.
