Women's Cricket: Azad SC beat Mirpur BCC by 12 runs

Azad Sporting Club managed a 12-run victory against Mirpur Boys Cricket Club in the Dhaka Women’s First Division Cricket League at City Club Ground on Thursday.
Azad SC batted first to score 174/9 in 40 overs, including player of the match Sraboni Akter’s score of 48 runs. Nirjona Rahman and Nasima Akter added 23 and 15 runs respectively for the side. Puja captured three wickets for 15 runs while Meghla Khanom took two for 32 runs.
Chasing 175 runs, Mirpur BCC collected 162/9 in 40 overs, including Mahfuja Rahat’s unbeaten 41 and Jannatul Ferdous’s 40 runs.
Akhi Akter, Shikha Akter and Sabina Akter picked up two wickets each for 19, 32 and 32 runs respectively.
