Girl’s body found inside sack on Patenga beach
A Chittagong :
A girl, appearing to be around 20 years old, has been found dead inside a sack on the Pategna sea beach in Chittagong.
Police recovered the body on Tuesday morning after locals reported it.
Arefin Jewel, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Port), confirmed the news to this correspondent.
He said, “…a young girl aged about 20 was found dead around 11:00am in the area. The sack was found at the west point embankment of the Sea beach while local people informed the police.
Receiving information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.”
Arefin said “She might be a garments worker or domestic aid who was killed by someone last night as several injury marks had been seen on her body.”
Police sent the body to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) morgue for autopsy.
