RAB raid in wine shop

RAB forces in the port city conducted raid in a wine shop owned by a local AL leader Anup Biswas on Sunday . The wine shop located at Firinghee Bazar under Kotwali thana in the city .
Law enforcers rounded up four persons allegedly involved with the wine business. Sensing the news of the presence of RAB forces, the owner Anup Biswas left escaped from the spot quickly.
RAB official Major SM Shaheen told the media that violating the terms and conditions of the wine license, the wine dealer was running the wine business.
Sources said the raid was launched at 5 pm which continued upto 8 pm.The RAB team detained four persons including manager of the shop instantly. Mentionable that Anup Biswas contested in the last CCC election and he is also organizing the Cultural organization named after Bangabandhu, sources said.
