V-Day Kabaddi begins

The Victory Day Kabaddi competition began on Thursday at Kabaddi stadium in the city.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) general secretary and additional DIG Habibur Rahman inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
On the opening day, Bangladesh Army beat Bangladesh Fire Service team by 47-23 points with three creditable ‘lona’.
Five teams are participating in the competition, sponsored by Liberation War Affairs Ministry and organized by BKF.
The participating teams are Bangladesh Army, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh Jail and Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense.
