Eight matches of National Women’s Handball decided in opener

Eight matches of the EXIM Bank National Women’s Handball championship were decided on the opening day (Saturday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city .
In the day’s matches, Dhaka district beat Feni district by 23-2 goals, Dinajpur defeated Kushtia by 14-7 goals, Noagaon outplayed Gopalganj by 14-2 goals, Faridpur outclassed Chudangan by 16-6 goals, Narail overpowered Kushtia by 13-5 goals, Jamalpur defeated Rajshahi by 12-4 goals and Noagaon beat Feni by 25-1 goals while Dhaka defeated Gopalganj by 17-8 goals.
Earlier, Health Minister Mohammed Nasim formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
