18th Council meeting of MIST held

The 18th council meeting of MIST was held on Sunday at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Mirpur Cantonment. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid presided over the meeting, Commandant MIST, Major General Md Abul Khair, ndc welcomed Minister.
In the meeting, approval of corrected post graduate ordinance of MIST, conduct of level-1 program of MIST from 2016-’17 at BNA, arrival of BAF cadets at the 3rd year of training and studying 2nd year of engineering program at MIST, undergraduate admission test and important discussion and decision was taken regarding selection of number of seats for admission in the academic session 2016-’17.
Chief of Army Staff General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, Principal Staff officer Armed Forces Division Lieutenant General Md Mahfuzur Rahman, VC BUP, Engineer-in-Chief, high ranking representatives of Dhaka University, BUET, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology were present in the meeting.
