UNB, Gopalganj :
Two lowly teams–Team BJMC and Uttar Baridhara Club– played to a goalless draw in the opening Gopalganj-leg match of the JB Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium here on Thursday.
Team BJMC partly dominated the match but failed to utilize the chances that came their way to settle for a draw.
After the day’s tame draw in the 18th round opener, Team BJMC remained at 10th slot in the 12-team league securing 18 points from as many matches while bottom-ranked Uttar Baridhara Club advanced to the 11th slot toppling Soccer Club, Feni (13 points from 17 matches) collecting 14 points from 18 encounters.
Holders Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will play Muktijoddha Sangsad KC today’s (Friday) lone league match at 3 pm.
