Wi-Fi services to CU residential hall halted

Wi-Fi connection to Chittagong University’s residential hall has been halted for a month, causing a serious hamper to academic study including others to the students.
The Wifi connection to A. F Rahman hall, on a sudden halted one month ago but due to negligence from the hall authority, the students failing to get access to the internet services, students alleged. The residential students alleged that, they informed the authority for several times but the provost of the hall didn’t put concentration to their demand, they also alleged.
Following the demand, they put the provost office under lock and key on Sunday, demanding the ouster of the provost DrGonesh Chandra Roy. However,DrGonseh said, the router was damaged a few days ago, adding we informed the ICT department to servicing it but they didn’t responded it.
