Mashrafe Bangladesh’s highest ODI wicket-taker

Bangladesh cricket team’s limited edition captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has become Bangladesh’s highest ODI wicket-taker overtaking Shakib Al Hasan who is on 215.
Mashrafe touched Shakib’s tally when he bowled out English skipper Jos Buttler in the 3rd and last match of the three-match ODI series against England at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Wednesday.
He became the highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh in ODIs having Moeen Ali in his ninth over.
Mashrafe who made his debut in this format in November 2001 against Zimbabwe has now 216 scalps in 166 matches at an average of 30.06 runs.
All-rounder Sahkib Al Hasan has now 215 wickets from 163 ODIs at an average of 27.93 runs.
