Butted by sacrificial cattle, man dies in Cox`s Bazar
UNB, Cox’s Bazar :
A man, who received wounds from hitting by a sacrificial cattle in the move of its slaughter on the day of Eid-ul-Azha on Monday at Nonachhari Paschimpara in Maheshkhali Island, died on Tuesday.
Locals said Jafar Alam, 43, a resident of the village, received a hit from the horns of the cattle in its attempt to free itself while being slaughtered on the day of Eid-ul-Azha and was critically injured.
Later, Jafar was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where he died in the evening.
