DIU accords reception to Golfer Shakhawat

Daffodil International University (DIU) on Monday accorded a grand reception to new golf prodigy Golfer Shakhawat Hossain Sohel for his outstanding contribution for the nation and the branding of DIU at DIU Auditorium recently.
Hamidul Haque Khan, acting vice chancellor presided over the reception programme. Major M Arman Ali Bhuiyan (retd.), project director, Ahemed Shamim Ansary, special assistant to chairman, BoT and M Abdullah-Al-Mamun (Badshah), senior administrative officer also spoke on the occasion.
Golfer Sohel expressed his gratitude towards DIU management for continuous support to him and promised to help DIU students to be the best in Golf area.
He also interacted with the students and told them how to imp[rove their game and vowed to engage himself for any student related activities regarding development of Golf. He is now top ranked among the professional Golfers of Bangladesh and playing excellent role as brand ambassador of DIU, said a press release.
