United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) signed an agreement with Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) at the DPDC Conference Room, Dhaka recently.
Under this agreement, UCB will facilitate DPDC customer’s all kinds of electricity bill collection and payment through its branch network under supervision of Corporate Cash Management & Marketing Division of UCB and transmit real time collection information to DPDC through online link.
Additional Managing Director of UCB M Shahidul Islam and DPDC Company Secretary Muhammed Munir Chowdhury signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. The Managing Director of DPDC Brig Gen. Md Nazrul Hasan (Retd) was also present in the signing ceremony.
From UCB Khandaker Zibanur Rahman, Head of Corporate Cash Management & marketing Division; Md. Tareq Uddin, Head of Corporate Relationship of Corporate Cash Management & Marketing Division and from DPDC, Mohammed Golam Mostafa, Executive Director (Finance) along with other officials of both organizations were present in the ceremony.
