1.5 m devotees throng at Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif

Approximately 1.5 million devotees thronged at Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif for the last three days at Fatikchari, Chittagong on the occasion of Urs of famous Sufi saint Gausul Azam Syed Golamur Rahman Maizvandary allies Baba Vandary, says a press release.
 Today being the main day of the 3 day long Urs Sharif, devotees and ashikans started pouring in to Darbar Sharif from across the country and other parts of the sub-continent in order to achieve purgatory and divine blessings.
The day was observed through special prayers, recitation of the Holy Koran & Milad Mehfil . The Ahkeri Munajat has been conducted by Alhaj Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizvandary, MP and Chairman of Bangladesh Tariqat Federation, and Gausul Azam baba Vandary Parishad . And present among others were Syed Tayabul Bashar Maizvandary, Chairman, Bangladesh Maizvandary Forum, and the awalds, descendants of Baba Vandary.
Syed Nazibul Bashar Maizvandary, MP in his Munajat prayed for all Bangladeshis , peace for the country and called upon all countrymen to be united against all so- called Islamist bigots and asked to shun the path of militancy being carried out in the name of Islam.
