Death condoled

State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadeque on Friday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of former lawmaker and Jessore District Awami League president Ali Reza Raju.
In a message, the State Minister said, “Ali Reza Raju was imbued with the ideologies of Bangabandhu and a glittering personality of the spirit of the War of Liberation and democracy. His demise was an irreparable loss to the nation.”
“As a popular and experienced politician, he (Late Raju) was uncompromising and sturdy for the cause of people’s emancipation. Throughout his life, he dreamt of a society free from exploitation, deprivation and disparity,” Ismat said.
The State Minister prayed for peace of the departed soul and conveyed her
deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
