Myanmar national held with Yaba pills in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested a Myanmar national with 1,970 Yaba tablets from Balukhali area in Ukhia upazila of the district on Monday.
The detainee was identified as Mohammad Hossain, 27, a resident of Khurtola area under Mongdu city of Myanmar, BGB sources said.
Lt. Col. Imran Ullah Sarker, commander of the BGB battalion based in Cox’s Bazar, said the Myanmar youth was arrested with the banned drug Yaba tablets in the area during search in a CNG-run passenger taxi coming from Teknaf.
