ASAUB celebrates English Day

The Department of English, ASA University Bangladesh (ASAUB) celebrated ‘English Day’ 2016 on Wednesday with great enthusiasm followed by a colourful cultural program at ASAUB campus.
To celebrate its anniversary, the English Club of the Department has organized English Day 2016, which include a prize-giving ceremony for the best artists and film makers of the Department and a farewell ceremony for the students of 13th , 14th , 15th , 16th , and 17th batches respectively.
Md. Shafiqual Haque Choudhury, Board of Trustees, ASAUB, was present as Chief Guest in the program. The Special Guests included Prof Dr Dalem Ch Barman, Vice Chancellor, ASAUB, and Prof Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Dean, Faculty of Arts, University of Dhaka. Md. Khalequzzaman, Registrar, ASAUB was also present in the program.
Diana Ansarey, Assistant Professor and Club Coordinator, gave the welcome speech. Prof Dr Md. Abu Daud Hasan, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Science and Chairman, Dept. of English presided over the program. Deans of different faculties and Chairmen of different departments and the faculty members of the English Dept. were present in the ceremony.
Diana Ansarey, Assistant Professor, Dept. of English and Coordinator, the English Club, coordinated the program.
