CRPD fines food item producers

The mobile court of the National Consumer Right Protection Directorate (CRPD) in cooperation with district administration fined two food producing establishments TK 1.46 lakh for preparing and selling adulterated items.
CRPD Assistant Director, Mohammad Foiz Ullah while conducting anti- adulteration drive in cooperation with law enforcing agencies this (Thursday) noon fined the owners of Imam Foods and Bagdad Foods at city’s Biyazid and Chandgaon areas respectively.
During the drive the court realized TK 1.46 lakh as fines from the authorities of the two establishments.
