Alphabet exhibition at CU

A 12 day-long exhibition of alphabets of over two hundred languages was recently held at Chittagong University (CU) Museum on the occasion of 21st February. CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury inaugurated the exhibition on Wednesday morning.
The exhibition aimed to enrich the language quality to the teachers and students and to research the world languages.
In the inaugural speech Vice-Chancellor Iftekahr Uddin said, a Boi-Mela (book fair) will be held on the occasion of 21st February from the next year in the university. `Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina advises to hold a book fair in the campus and following her direction a book fair will be held’ he added.
Presided by Prof Dr Imran Hossain, director of the museum, the discussion meeting was addressed by Prof Dr Sekandhar Chowdhury, Dean prof Abdullah-al-Faruque, Dean Dr Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, CUTA president Dr Mohammad Abul Mansur among others.
