BSJA Media Cricket advances to semifinals

Four media teams — ATN News, Jamuna TV, Gazi TV and Dhaka Tribune — reached the semifinals of the Pran Frooto-BSJA Media Cricket Tournament eliminating their rivals in quarterfinals at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium on Monday.
In the semifinals on Wednesday, Gazi TV will play Dhaka Tribune while ATN News will encounter Jamuna TV, both at 10am at the same venue. The final match will also be held on the same day and same venue at 12 noon.
In the quarterfinals on Monday, Dhaka Tribune (78/5) outplayed Somoy TV (26/5) by 52 runs; ATN News (78/4) beat Independent TV (75/3) by one wicket; Jamuna TV (85/3) defeated Radio Today ((81/4) by two wickets while Gazi TV (63/2) beat Channel i (59/4) by three wickets.
Vice-president of Bangladesh Hockey Federation Khawja Rahmatullah and Chairman of the current BPL champions Comilla Victorians Nafisa Kamal distributed prizes after the quarterfinals.
