Workshop on Self- Assessment held

A workshop on Self Assessment organized by Institutional quality Assurance cell IQAC BUET was held at the NAME Seminar Room, BUET on Thursday. The training workshop focused on Self Assessment, accreditation and outcome based engineering education for producing skilled and balanced engineers who can contribute effectively beyond their professional careers.
In the Inaugural Ceremony of the workshop Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, Dean, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Md. Saidur Rahman of Department of Computer Science and Engineering was present as the Special Guest. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad spoke on the importance of quality education and accreditation in higher education. Prof. Dr. Kaykobad also congratulated the IQAC for taking the initiative to carry out Self-Assessment Exercise of different departments.
