Moulvibazar Municipality has announced its annual budget of 150 crore 95 lakh 73 thousand 924.73 taka for the financial year 2024-25. This year, Moulvibazar Municipality received the country’s best award for birth registration and national award for environment protection. Municipal Mayor Md. Fazlur Rahman announced this budget in the municipal hall on Tuesday afternoon.
In the budget speech, the mayor said that he took responsibility with a loan of 11 crore 11 lakh taka. He has so far paid off the debt of Tk 9 crore 25 lakh 15 thousand with the income of the municipality step by step.
