Complaints filed against 53, including RAB, cops, in ICT

Seven former leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, who were subjected to enforced disappearances and brutal torture by RAB and police, leading to lifelong disabilities, have filed written complaints with the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT).

On Sunday, separate complaints were submitted to the International Crimes Tribunal. One individual remains missing, and on his behalf, his brother has filed a written complaint.

Confirming the matter, Victim’s lawyer, Advocate Dr Amanullah Al Jihadi (Adib) said, “A complaint has been filed against 53 persons, including RAB and police officials, involved in inhuman and brutal acts such as abductions, torture, and causing permanent disabilities.”
