Cumilla Correspondent :
Zhang Jing, Political Director of the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka has said that Bangladesh and China have completed 50 years of diplomatic relations. This relationship is a love affair between the two countries. In the meantime, the local Jamaat Ameer and central leaders have exchanged views with the Chinese ambassador on Tuesday.
The Jamaat Ameer said that there are three problems in Bangladesh – corruption, stagnation in the education system and India. Corruption has been present in every regime, but Jamaat is taking a strong stand against corruption. Every leader of Jamaat has spoken about the education system. Jamaat leaders are educated, because there are several doctors and engineers, including the Ameer and the Nayeb Ameer. India never wants the benefits of Bangladesh. They have been protecting the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh till now. Although Bangladesh has sent a letter to send him back twice, India is not responding.
But China has maintained friendly relations with Bangladesh.
He made these remarks during a view-sharing meeting with Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists in Cumilla-11 Chauddagram constituency on Tuesday afternoon. Ms. Suraiya Akhter, a political research expert at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, spoke.
Zhang Jing also said that Jamat-e-Islami is a strong Islamic party. They are currently in a strong position in terms of their relations with the common people. He highly praised Jamaat’s central Nayeb-e-Ameer Dr. Taher.
