The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line is set to launch a new air-conditioned bus service on Friday, offering an expanded route that will connect Gulistan Zero Point to Shibpur-Gazipur through the elevated expressway.
The updated service will include key stops at Gulistan, Shahbagh, Farmgate, Airport, College Gate, Board Bazar, Bhogra, and Shibbari, reads a press release from the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
The AC bus service was initially launched on December 1, offering routes from the Airport to Shibpur, Gazipur. This expansion aims to provide a faster, more comfortable public transit option for commuters navigating the heavily congested areas of Dhaka and Gazipur.
