Bangladesh Football League: Mohammedan draw 1-1 with Police

Defending champions Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited drew 1-1 with Bangladesh Police Football Club in their 11th match of the Bangladesh Football League at Shaheed Dhirendranath Dutta Stadium in Cumilla on Friday.

After yesterday’s outcome, Bangladesh Police Football Club took the fifth position in the points table bagging 16 points from 11 matches, while Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited took the sixth position collecting 11 points from as many matches.

Police’s Nigerian recruit Odo Moses was roughly charged by Mohammedan’s defender Jahid Hasan at the D-box of Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited. Thus, the referee awarded a penalty kick for Bangladesh Police Football Club.

Meanwhile, Rahmatganj MFS blanked Fakirerpool Youngmens Club by three goals to nil in their 11th match at the Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on the same day.

Rahmatganj MFS took the third position in the points table gaining 18 points playing 11 matches, while Fakirerpool Youngmens Club took the eight position earning 10 points from 11 matches.

Rahmatganj MFS started their match with attack after attack and dominated Fakirerpool Youngmens Club.
