MASTUL journey of humanitarian excellence
MASTUL Foundation has completed over a decade of humanitarian work across Bangladesh.
MASTUL’s journey to hit the milestone
Founded in 2012 by Kazi Reaz Rahman and a group of young volunteers, the organisation has grown into a major force providing education, healthcare and livelihood support to millions.
Speaking to the New Nation, Kazi Reaz Rahman, Founder of MASTUL Foundation said, “MASTUL Foundation is more than just an organisation; it is a dream of resurgence for the neglected. Our ultimate goal is the satisfaction of Allah. We strive to ensure no orphan feels alone.”
Global reach and national recognition
MASTUL Foundation is a government-registered national entity, recognised by the Ministry of Social Welfare, the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies, and the NGO Affairs Bureau.
Expanding beyond borders, MASTUL has become a beacon of international solidarity.
In response to the humanitarian crises in Gaza and Sudan, MASTUL’s volunteers have worked on the ground to deliver life-saving medicine and nutritious food to besieged children and families.
Pillars of impact
MASTUL School, Madrasa & Orphanage: Providing a nurturing family environment for orphans and underprivileged children, blending modern education with ethical and religious values.
Zakat-Based Self-Reliance Project: Moving beyond temporary relief, this project empowers families with tools like rickshaws, sewing machines, or small business capital to turn Zakat-receivers into future Zakat-givers.
The foundation is currently constructing a 10-story Islamic Shelter Home Complex—a state-of-the-art permanent residence for the helpless.
MASTUL’s unique initiative Supporters can secure a “Contribution Share” for 100,000 BDT to become a lifetime member.
This unique initiative ensures that if a donor or member ever finds themselves alone or in need of shelter in their later years, the complex will provide them with a secure and dignified home
