BAUET celebrates 11th founding anniv

Various programs have been organized to celebrate the 11th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology (BAUET) at Qadirabad Cantonment, Natore.

Flag hoisting, releasing of pigeons, a symbol of peace, special prayers, cake cutting, colorful rally and friendly football match were organized on Sunday morning. At the beginning of the day, the national flag and the university flag were hoisted and saluted by Honorable Vice Chancellor Brigadier General SM Lutfar Rahman and Treasurer Colonel Md. Shawkat Hussain, psc (retd).

A colorful rally with the participation of teachers, officers, employees and class representatives of students and students started from BAUET Plaza, circled the important roads of the campus and ended at the plaza again.
In addition, on the occasion of the University Day celebration, a friendly football match was organized between teachers, officials and students at the central playground by the initiative of the BAUET Games, Sports and Gymnasium Club.

At the time, the University’s Controller of Examinations Colonel Hla Hen Mong (Retd.), Dean of the Faculty of Science and Humanities and Law Professor Dr. Md. Sajjad Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Professor Dr. Mohammad Nurul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of ECE Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuyan, Acting Registrar Major Md. Monjinul Mubin (Retd.), Heads of Departments, Proctors, Student Welfare Advisors, Deputy Registrars, faculty, officers, employees and students were present there.
