Entire Bangladesh weeps today: Religious Adviser on Shaheed Osman Hadi’s Janaza

Religious Adviser Dr A F M Khalid Hossain said that “the entire Bangladesh is weeping today” during the namaz-e-janaza prayer for Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi, the fearless, pioneering leader of the Inqilab Mancha.
Speaking at the namaz-e-janaza on the south plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Saturday, drawing a large crowd united in grief over the loss of a key figure in Bangladesh’s recent revolutionary movement.
Dr. Khalid Hossain, speaking with visible heartfelt prayers, invoked divine mercy for Hadi, stating, “Hadi has embraced shahadat.
We beseech Allah to bestow upon him the esteemed status of a martyr.”
He continued with heartfelt supplications, urging, “May Allah Ta’ala forgive any errors or deviations in his life and transform his grave into a fragment of paradise.
Grant the people of this nation the tawfiq to realise the dream of establishing a just society free from authoritarianism.
The Adviser highlighted the nationwide scale of mourning, revealing that the Religious Affairs Ministry had issued directives for special prayers. “In every mosque across Bangladesh’s villages, towns, cities, and ports, our brother Hadi’s dua, tilawaat, zikr, and azkar have been fervently performed,” he said, underscoring the collective sorrow and solidarity enveloping the nation.
Hadi’s death marks a somber chapter in the ongoing legacy of the July uprising, where his role as a vocal advocate for change inspired many.
His janaza not only honoured his sacrifices but also reignited calls for the ideals he fought to uphold.
