BD women defeat Bhutan in SAFF U-20 Champ

Bangladesh Under-20 Women’s Football team kept their supremacy in the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Under-20 Women’s Championship after defeating Bhutan Under-20 Women’s Football team 3-0 in their fourth match at Practice Ground of Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital on Thursday.
Defending champions Bangladesh bagged maximum 12 points from four matches and led solely in the points table.
On the other hand, Nepal are breathing on Bangladesh’s neck gaining nine points from four matches.
Bangladesh led the first half 1-0.
Trishna Rani of Bangladesh put her team ahead by a spectacular left-footer using a cross from her teammate in the 33rd minute of the play.
After the lemon-break, Trishna Rani made it 2-0
in the 65th minute of the game. Sapna Rani sealed the fate of the match by a forceful shot in the 75th minute of the clash.
Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka tomorrow at the same venue. The match will kick-off at 7:00pm.
Bangladesh made an auspicious start defeating Sri Lanka 9-1 in their first match of the at the Bashundhara Kings Arena on July 11.
Bangladesh retained their supremacy after beating Nepal by 3-2 goals in their second match at the same venue on July 13.
The red-and-green outfit retained their all-win record defeating Bhutan 4-1 in their third match at Practice Ground of Bashundhara Kings Arena on July 15.
